Unable to see printing progress drawn on whole print
-
Hi all,
I have two Duet boards in different printers. One of them is running DWC 3.3.0 because I don't often use it and the other is running 3.4.1.
For the two latest firmware versions I seem to have lost the ability to show progress in the G-Code Viewer as a different colour on a completed print.
There was an option for "Show Solid" in older versions of DWC, which missing in the newer versions. I'm not sure if this is what was letting me display progress like this.
Is there a way to get progress to show as it does in the right hand image?

A question for @Sindarius

@threepwood This was a feature that was dropped out because most of the feedback I got on it was that the transparent version of it was what folks wanted to see. The viewer went through a partial rewrite a while back to improve the render/loading performance and I didn't bother putting this back in. If there's enough interest in the functionality I can add it back though I may do so by implementing a transparency percentage slider so you could make it opaque.

@sindarius Ooh, that is effectively the same thing, I just didn't find it. I just tried it on a simulated print and it looks really cool.
In the next release I think it would be nice to have an option next to "Progress color" such as "Apply to all completed layers", if it's not too difficult to implement.
