Y Axis Homing Issues CoreXY
-
Having a lot of problems getting my machine to operate properly after updating from 2.? to 3.3. I've got most things figured out and My Y does home to the end stop, but then it refuses to let me move it away from the end stop after a homeall. X and Z axes work fine but can't figure out what's going on with the Y axis for the life of me. Here's my Config.g, homeall.g and homey.g. I could really use some help. Thanks.

All homing movements in y go to the maximum side. But according to your config your endstop sits on the minimum side. You have to reverse the y-movements in the homing files. -
@diy-o-sphere, To be honest, I can't seem to figure out how to correct this. Maybe I'm dumb. In the config,g I've tried adding and removing the '!' in the M574 command to invert the end stop and tried using both a negative and positive number associated with the Y movement in the homing files, but no combination seems to work for me. I can't believe I can't get this thing going. I can only get it to go towards the end stop by using a positive number in the homing files or it goes away from the end stop. Removing the '!' in the config.g really makes things go wonky.

Are you sure that your motor on y is running the right direction? -
@diy-o-sphere Yes, because when I reverse it, the print head moves in the X direction instead of Y direction.
-
@diy-o-sphere A friend helped me find the problem. Thanks for your help.
