not unloading selected filament

for whatever reason, my machine is not unloading the filament selected. after clicking the unload, it loads the filament configuration, and then runs the unload.g file to completion. but it doesn't give me the "load filament" text next to my T4 tool. because of this, I can't load a new filament.
