Duet Magnetic sensor agc value
-
Good morning, I'm mounting my Duet magnetic Sensors with PETG printed housing (layer height 0,1mm) In the first one I read an agc value of 66 wich is quit smaller than the recomended 85-105. Can I leave the housing like this or should I make some adjustment? I suppose 66 means the sensor is too close to the magnet, right?
Thanks

@thedragonlord a lower agc value is fine anything under 100 is fine. 66 around the best than I say with the new assemblies and the new housing design so that's good.
The only thing to check is that the hobbed assembly is rotating freely with filament movement and is not so close to the sensor that is rubbing so hard on it that its interrupting the movement. I put a dot of permanent market on the back on the bottom of the magnet assembly and the bearing so I can see the rotation of the magnet, then use some filament to move back and forwards by hand. the movement should be consistent in both directions with no jumping, sticking etc.
