Filament sensors error
-
Good morning, I keep on having problems with my big tree tech filament smart sensors (I use two).
The print always go in pause and this is the value I read:
M591 D0 Pulse-type filament monitor on pin e0stop, disabled, sensitivity 4.439mm/pulse, allowed movement 20% to 6000%, check every 7.0mm, measured sensitivity 5.090mm/pulse, measured minimum 0%, maximum 203% over 1252.3mm
This is th configuration:
M591 D0 P7 C"e0stop" L4.439 R20:6000 E7 S1 M591 D1 P7 C"e1stop" L4.828 R20:6000 E7 S1
I have noticed that the mm/pulse value changes A LOT during the print from slow speed parts and fast speed parts, but the 0% read for me is hard to understand because the filament IS NOT clogged, if I change the S value to S0 the print goes perfectly with no clogging....
What could be happening?

@thedragonlord pulse sensors don't handle retractions well. That might be the issue.

uh how can I solve it? If I can....
-
@thedragonlord not sure really. I am wondering if the 0% is happening during short moves with retractions where the sensor filament is moving backwards and forwards but not passing the ~4mm required for a pulse.
