"Terms of use" implementation?
-
Hi Duet team,
We see these warnings pop up in the forum all the time. Posted by frightened users (or annoyed users, like me)"Warning: Heater n appears to be over-powered. If left on at full power, its temperatur is predicted to reach xxxC"
I believe this warning pops up to avoid legal issues, in case a failed thermistor causes a fire.
Why not show a pop up in DWC with those 'terms of use' stuff and we (the user) can confirm we've read and understood these terms and they never pop up again. (a firmware update would reset the confirmation)

@o_lampe my opinion is is it better to read this message from time to time so that we don't forget that our printer can burn in the worst case.
Im shure that nobody or at least only a few users will read a terms of use file -

The thing is, the message doesn't show up when we start DWC. It appears coincidently, depending on the users behaviour. Hence their surprise/shock.
I better like to see a (surely short) terms of use message, everytime I update firmware.
