Filaprint heightmap off - Rail alignment off?
-
I have a CoreXY with genuine HiWin Rails on a frame made out of linear extrusion profiles (I know that this setup kind of kills the accuracy demands of HiWin). My print bed is a 6mm alu-plate from FilaFarm with a verified flatness (I do not have the test certificate at hand). On top I have a FilaPrint surface glued with some double-sided transfer glue. Because of that I do not expect to get the flatness of the alu-plate on the very top.
I level my bed with three points (left-, right-front and center in the back). However when I do a manual mesh bed probing my heightmap always looks something like this:
The front is fairly on the same level. Same goes for the centre in the back. The further back I probe the more the heightmap shifts up on the left and goes down on the right. That shift is kind of linear with a linear increase of Y. That kind of got me wondering. My question: Is my glued print surface simply that uneven or is something wrong with my setup. I suspect the left rail to be not on the same plane as the right rail of my CoreXY. Could that explain the shift? I already tried putting 0.1mm shims under the left rail, but with very little success.

To me it seems as if the rails are twisted to each other.

I think your XY rails are not in the same plane.
