yes, but my statement was, the firmware was updated to 3.0.
there are config changes you need to do as the rrf2 config does not work with rrf3.
without those changes you wont be able to move anything.
-
I'll keep trying tomorrow, thank you
-
the main problem now is that the printer doesn't start anymore.
by start I mean that the display no longer starts up in the menu.
it doesn't finish loading -
@Proschi78 i guess you need to go back to 2.02 then
-
@jay_s_uk that's exactly what I tried.
it just didn't work out.
the board stays at 3.0 -
@Proschi78
that might be a price to pay for running the original firmware on the raise 3d -
@Veti but unfortunately he no longer plays the original firmware on the board via the printer
-
not sure what you mean
-
@Veti https://support.raise3d.com/E2/how-to-update-the-motion-controller-firmware-20-1143.html
The printer does not do the firmware update because the board is flashed to 3.0
-
@Proschi78
yes but the firmware updated to 3.0. that is what you wanted to do in the first place.
a lcd screen is not necessary for the operation of a duet. -

the WiFi module sits on the display controllerwell you might want to change the eol and line settings in yat so that you can see the actual status of the wifi module.
-
i can only connect the motion board via usb.
the display controller is also operated via this interface -

they can easily just route the spi lines to the display.
that is why the full M122 output is relevant.
you probably did not update the wifi firmware when you updated to the rrf3 firmware. -

you probably did not update the wifi firmware when you updated to the rrf3 firmware.I cannot update the WiFi firmware.
because the wifi module is on a different board.
and I have no access to it via the pc -
the wifi firmware is not updated via the pc.
see
