Hi , trying to set on my bltouch on my duetwifi running 3.1.1.
Followed the docs . but must have missed something.
I'm on heater 3 and using pins 1 , 2 , 8 ( heater 3 ) using this in my config .; Z-Probe M558 P9 C"^zprobe.in" H5 F100 T2000 ; set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds M950 S0 C"exp.heater3" ; create servo pin 0 for BLTouch G31 P500 X0 Y0 Z2.5 ; set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height M557 X15:215 Y15:195 S20
but can't get it to deploy with M280 P0 S10 .

Double check the wiring. You config looks ok, provided you're actually connected to heater pin 3 on the expansion header.
Also confirm that you are actually running firmware 3.1.1 by sending M115.

M115
FIRMWARE_NAME: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet FIRMWARE_VERSION: 3.1.1 ELECTRONICS: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later FIRMWARE_DATE: 2020-05-19b2That is was a pass , the bltouch is lit up so i guess it can only be the wire to heater 3 pin 8

@Phaedrux I was using heater 7 before on rrf 2 , so moved the control pin to heater 7 and it works.

The most important step I think you are missing is the following.
Hold the bl-touch in your hand walk over to the bin and drop it in, job done, they are the most unreliable P.O.S. Known to man failure of moving parts, terrible resolution and questionable repeatability.
Prepare your bed surface properly and use an IR sensor.

He didn't have it plugged in. Hardly the fault of the probe.
