Thanks, can you open the properties for the device, go to the Details tab and find the Hardware Ids property and add that just to check the board reports the correct IDs for the drivers to attach to.
edit: migh as well throw in a picture of the Drivers tab too.

@bearer Which device?
the Communications Port (COM6) at the top of your picture, it is still there?

@bearer yes

Are those all the hardware id's? if so it's not the Duet board.
Looking for something similar to
-
@bearer The COM6 does not have any other hardware ids. The Generic USB Hubs have Hardware IDs similar to the ones you featured.
Edit: USB composite devices have these ids as well.

All USB devices should have something like that, thats how the hardware and drivers are tied togehter.
You're getting power to the board so presumably the problem is part of the USB connection. Try different USB port or different USB cables to see if it makes a difference.

@bearer I tried 2 cables with all ports before, but after you suggested it I tried a 3. and it worked. Windows told me installing new device: Duet.
Now I can continue, thanks and sorry for wasting your time for a bit. -
No worries, glad you got it sorted.
