Queria modificar alguns arquivos, você consegue disponibilizar os arquivos 3D dos itens ?? o que você disponibilizou não consigo ter acesso as pecas.

Translate: I wanted to modify some files, can you make the 3D files available for the items ?? What you have made available can not access the parts.

        Do you mean CAD files?

@phaedrux isso mesmo, os arquivos CAD de todos os itens para que eu possa editar.

Ave you looked at the thingiverse link? It looks like a lot of the step files are there..

@phaedrux estão apenas os arquivos STL e esse tipo de arquivo eu não consigo alterar.

@gleison there are STEP files as well, but maybe not for everything you need. That would be up to @Blv

98% of the project step files can be found there.

Can this be made with nothing but 2020 extrusion?

                    • I built an original hypercube but the rails/bearings are garbage.
I bought the mgn12 rails to replace them when I came across this BLV.
so I only have 2020 extrusion I would like to use.

                    Thanks!

it should be possible, but you will lose rigidity.

@mogal before i published the project, i had to run countless software simulations, hw tests and so on.
Using 2040 is very crucial for the rigidity of the frame. Unfortunately, at least two of the guys that tried to use 2020 instead of 2040 had massive ghosting/ringing and problems related to frame changes.
I would advise you to stick with the original frame design..

Thanks guys, I completely understand the rigidity with 2040.
I just don't have the resources to get any at this time.

As long as it can be done, I can get the printer working reliably again.
I'll just keep the speeds and acceleration a lower to help prevent the ringing.

                          Thanks!

Incredible project and the amount of work you have put in is unbelievable, thank you for sharing!
Question: Have you ever looked at a larger bed size than 300mm? The height at 665mm is perfect for what I'm looking to build but I'd prefer a larger bed at 400-500mm and wondered if this had ever been covered.
I look forward to any feedback.

at a build plate of 500 i would expect that the 2 rails would not be enough to ensure the stability of bed.
you could modify the build and add 2 additional rails and obviously the front panel would not fit anymore.

if you are not comfortable about doing your own mods you could have a look at the voron 2.1, which allows for such build volumes

Thank you for the response! That looks like a really viable option.

For bigger bed plate i would recommend adding one more rail (3 z axis setup) and using auto ture leveling. It will be much better then using 4 rails. (Installation of 4 rails is a nightmare)
