I might be wrong but after having a look through the survey the cynic in me feels it's more of a company getting market research data than anything else....

@calvinx I can assure you that there is no one behind me that gets the data - just me. And as I said no third party will get the data or any conclusions derived from the data.
Of course its a market research but I need it for my thesis

@taconite I filled out your survey which is something I very rarley do. Just a suggestion - I'm working something that will take 6 filaments but the maximum choice in your survey is 5. I made a comment to that effect at the end.
