Duet 2 Ethernet network issue?
-
Hello,
I have a new Duet 2 Ethernet (firmware 2.01) that I have attached to a Tronxy X5S (core XY) that has been converted to 24v. I had updated the firmware and configured the ethernet prior to installing the board and everything seemed fine. Once I had changed the connectors using the provided items I installed the board and connected the X, Y, Z stops, stepper motors, thermisters, and fans. I have left the heating elements disconnected, they will be going through MOSFET's.
Once I installed the board powered up and I connected to it through the web interface. I seemed fine and the temps were reading from the thermisters. At that point, as a test, I selected to home Y, it moved the carrage to the Y stop but was drifting on X while it did it. Once done I lost connection to the Duet 2, there is no connection or activity indicators on the Duet's newtork adapter. Power cycling hasn't had an impact. I will be connecting to it with USB when I get home to see what I can determine but I wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations. I started by using a configuration from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nqddfxHla0. The config.g from there is:

</code>I did modify the network section to remove the wifi data and set a static IP that had held through several reboots.

@tletourneau I'm a bit confused. You say the board is Duet Ethernet yet your configuration is for a Duet WiFi.

@deckingman I modified the network section to remove the wifi data and set a static IP that had held through several reboots. I'm at work so I do not have access to my config.g so I listed the one I based mine off of.

It was me, I somehow connected the endstop micro-switches incorrectly. Now I just need to figure out why X and Y move when I move just one of them (either one). On the plus side Z seems fine.

@tletourneau Use this guide to check your motion.
