BLTouch V1.21
-
Anyone else notice that after 1.21 upgrade and changing probe type to 9 that during the homez sequence the BLtouch needle drops for a second time and then quickly retracts it? It doesn't cause an issue with the detection, but I now have two printers doing the exact same thing.
In other words it follows this sequence:
- it deploys the probe
- the bed moves until the probe is detected
- the probe is retracted
- the bed drops
- the probe deployed and quickly retracts.
[[language]] M558 P9 H5 F100 T4000 X0 Y0 Z1 ; Set Z probe type/mode 5\. H=Dive Height. F=Speed the bed moves
[[language]] G1 X95 Y89 F4000 ; Move probe to middle of bed G30 ; Do a single probe to home our Z axis ```homez.g

You mean like this?

Hey buddy.
Mines always done this, but not all the time. On some probes it springs back up and stays there, on some occasions it pings back down again after a probe and retracts back again.
I'm using a clone BLTouch, but it's been the same for me from 1.18 firmware.

Sorry about that. Bad timing. It should work now.
