Please help me upgrade Firmware to latest version
-
Dear all,
I haven't used my printer, DIY Delta, for a while, it still works fine.
I would like to use my printer more often now that I have more time.
I want to upgrade my Firmware to the latest stable version.
This is my current version,( RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet 2.05RC2 (2019-12-08b1)
Duet WiFi Server Version: 1.26
Board: Duet WiFi 1.0 or 1.01 duetwifi10)
Panel Due firmware version 1.23.2would anyone please explain to me how to upgrade it to the latest version step by step?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

the fastest way:
- make a backup of your current config
- follow the upgrade with firmware erase procedure which points to Fallback procedure #2
- generate a new config.g using the reprap config tool, using the backed up config.g as a reference.

Thank you for your responding.

@Celebi If you do update by erasing the firmware and flashing the latest firmware (3.5.3), note that you may need to manually update DWC on the SD card. I don't know if the current firmware will work with the version of DWC that shipped with 2.05. Download the "DuetWebControl-SD.zip" file from https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/3.5.3, unzip into a folder called 'www', and replace the 'www' folder on the SD card.
The WiFi firmware v1.26 should still work with 3.5.3, but again, it would be best to update this. Once you have a connection via DWC, upload the firmware zip "Duet2and3Firmware-3.5.3.zip" from the above link. This will upload and update all parts, including necessary files like the IAP file (this updates the firmware next time) and firmware binaries, into the /firmware folder. It will also update the WiFi firmware.
Lastly, you'll need to update the PanelDue firmware. See https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_PanelDue
