What does it mean when you have agc value of 0-2?
-
Been having some issues with the duet3D filament monitor. Think I got it about worked out but wondering what it means when my agc value is way below what it should read?

@Kwad3d See https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Sensors_filament#errors-during-operation
Values for 'agc' of 50 to 105 are considered normal. If the value is higher, up to 128, the distance between the magnet and the sensor is likely to be too large (target is 0.25mm). Check that the screws holding the PCB down are not loose (caution: they are screwed into the plastic, so don't over-tighten them). If they are already tight, you could remove the 2 long screws to separate the two plastic parts and very slightly sand down the bottom surface of the top one (the one with the PCB attached) to move the sensor closer to the magnet.
So if the opposite is true of the bold text above, it could be that the distance between magnet and sensor is too close.

@droftarts not likely. If I tighten the case screws any more it get a "magnet too strong" error code form the flashing lights on the monitor.

@Kwad3d yes, so that makes sense it looks like the magnet is very close to the sensor
