Duet 1XD packaging
-
Hello,
What is supposed to be the packaging of the Duet 1XD? I've made an order of a bunch of this boards to a Duet resseller and I'm simply shocked with the packaging. Basically, the boards came from Germany to Lisbon contained between ballscrews and a slat of wood with just a cardboard envolving the whole package. All of the boards came without their individual box. Some of the boards arrided obviously with visible damage as they literally absorbed every impact from the trip from Germany. The resseler is now saying that Duet3D shipped the boards without the individual boxes. It is obvious that I can't use any of the boards as even if they still work, I can't trust a controller that was shipped in this conditions.
My main question is: How does Duet ships the Duet1XD boards? I'm just trying to figure out if the resseller is lying to me or if indeed Duet ships the boards in these conditions. 1 -
@J-Helps Please can you email support@duet3d.com with the details of the reseller, order number, date of purchase, your name, address, and a link to this forum thread, and we'll contact the reseller.

Individually boxed for 1XDs is a fairly recent thing, it is possible they received them from Duet3D not individually boxed... but the reseller should have packaged them in a way to protect them, and/or offer to exchange. Packing PCBs between leadscrews and wood shows a lack of understanding of the product.
