Best way to control a double action airbrush?
-
Hi gents,
has anyone used a Duet to control an airbrush?
There are two actions required for a succesful paint job: push down the lever to open the air valve. Simple on/of action (by solenoid I guess) and control the paint flow by pulling back the lever. Analogue action required (stepper or hobby-servo)
I can't define the flow control actuator as extruder, I guess? Maybe use the retract/unretract commands?
Seems, it has to be a separate axis or are there other ways to define such a tool?THX for reading

I thought of coloring some easter eggs, but regular patterns require CNC control and a rotary device. Even when using laser cut motive masks it's hard to control by hand.
I got inspired by the felt pen easter egg plotter
