Wavy vase mode problem
-
Hello,
I wanted to ask you if you have also had a problem like this.
the printer is a corexy with 300x300x600 print dimensions, I have already done various tests and in normal print conditions it has no problems.
However, by activating the vase mode on CURA, the print is good up to a certain point and then creates those waves.do you think it could be due to the vase mode combined with the mesh compensation of the bed error?
Any idea can be useful.
thank you

@dvd479
A bit of info on what you've already done about it would be beneficial.
Belt tension checked ?
All parts checked for tight fit ?
Checked that all parts run smoothly ?
Spindles checked whether they are bent ?
Printer geometry checked ?Google Translate
-- Original Text --Ein paar Infos was Du schon alles dagegen unternommen hast, wäre von Vorteil.
Riemenspannungen kontrolliert ?
Alle Teile auf festen sitz kontrolliert ?
Kontrolliert ob alle Teile leicht laufen ?
Spindeln kontrolliert ob diese ggf verbogen sind ?
Geometrie des Druckers kontrolliert ? -
@dvd479 It looks like your Z-axis is binding? That would make the motors skip steps and the extruder pushes the filament sideways.

@dvd479 How wide are print lines? How tall is the print?
In the first picture, the wood-grain waviness is often due to the extruder gears. I don't know of any cure for it except maybe to use an extruder with a very high gear reduction, and even that might not solve the problem.
If the print wall is thin, as the print gets taller it will distort under its own weight and create the sort of waviness in the second picture. In the past I tried printing tall vases with a 0.5 mm wall and they got very bad as they got taller. Now I routinely print 600 mm tall vases with 1.2mm wall thickness (1 mm nozzle) without such problems.
