How to tune low level stepper driver settings

I've noticed my motors on my extruders all introduce vibration into my XY. I've tried tweaking current, stepping, jerk, accel all to no avail.
I remember reading material in the duet docs for tuning the steppers themselves, I just have no idea what any of those settings do and how to properly go about it.
Any thoughts?

@phaedrux I have, but I don't know what to do with it. I can randomly start changing values, but that's probably not the best way to go about it.

I wish it was easier too. You may glean more from the driver data sheets from Trinamic. It's going to be trial and errors. And it's debatable whether it would make much of a difference anyway.
