cant find the right e3d v6 thermistor settings

So I recently switched to E3D V6 nozzle, Ive read every single topic on the thermistor config.g settings but not a single value helps me.
Ive tried M305 P1 B4267/4388/4725 C7.060000e-8.. Ive had a B value that starts with 3, but all of them gave me the reading of 2000C and above.
The only way I could get a reading under 100C was to put B25000 value in config.g
Im using an Ormerod 2, with 1.18 firmware on it.
The thermistor is 100k NTC 3950 and this is the hotend I have bought.
At this point im stuck and have no idea how to proceed.

@sardi 2000C means the thermister is not connected. Check for a bad connection.

@stephen6309 its 2000 at a certain value. If I put B4725 as suggested its well over 4000C so Im guessing the wiring should be ok. Or am I wrong?
The thermistor was premounted onto the heatsink and came with connectors attached at the end of the wires, Ive just had to plug them in.

Suddenly with the value M305 P1 B4725 C7.060000e-8 R4700 the temperature went from 4500C to arr 650C.. dont ask me how, Ive been just flippin through values..

Temp goes to 1050C.
The lower the B value, the higher the temperature reading.
At B25000 I drop below 100C.

Then i'd suggest the cheap clone e3d v6 is the issue as a 100K 3950 should be working.

I have a bunch of thermistors at home, should I swap the one I got with the clone with the ones I have at home?

@rushmere3d Just plugged the clone out, plugged the spare one in and I got the reading of 24C. I was so stuck on the B value that I completely forgot to stop and think it might be a hardware problem

In the end it was the fault of a bit of stripped insulation at the tip of the thermistor. It got into contact with the screw holding it in place, and gave false readings.
