      Hello,
      I have a Duet Wifi and a Duex. I would like to use two small servos connected to the Duex and so would like to connect an external 5V to the Duex to be on the safe side.

      Now, if I connect 5V to the Duex Aux IN , do I also need to connect the DuetWifi to 5V Input, or can I just leave the DuetWifi to generate its own 5V from VIN, while Duex is fed the separate 5V for the servos?
      (Simply would facilitate some of the wiring ;))

        According to THE SCHEMATIC.

        When you switch JP1 to the external position, ONLY the Fan and Servo ports are moved to the external 5Volt supply.

        The rest of the board continues to be powered by the Duet through the ribbon connector.

        So you can power the Duet with Vin and the Duex 5V can be externally supplied.
