No tools are showing in DWC - noob

One thing that just occured to me, does soldering thermistor wires cause problems?

@phaedrux Do you know what the SH terminal on that breakout board is for?
Also, after doing some reading, it looks like I should have checked the resistance on the wires I used to connect the thermistors... Maybe that is part of the issue. Tonight I'll replace those cables with thermistor cables and crimp them onto the plug pin instead of soldering.

@nvigr8 Change the S1 to S0 in your M574.

@stephen6309 Thank you for the input. Last night I finally got the X and Y endstops and movement working properly.
However, now the Z endstop shows as being on even though the BLtouch has not been triggered. Not sure what I changed to make this happen.

@stephen6309 Thanks again for the help. However, when I first made this post and put in the config.g it WAS working. It was the ONLY axis working at the time. In trying to fix other problems - tools, thermistors, etc. I must have changed something to make it not work. That line you referenced earlier apparently didn't change though.

@stephen6309 Ok, I'm at home and I added that !. Now M119 shows the Z is not stopped.
Next problem is that when I home the Z axis, the probe deploys but when pushed in, it does not register as a stop. Ideas?

I don't think the inversion was correct in this case. It should not need inversion. I think there may be an issue with the white wire for the BLTouch which is the trigger signal wire.

@phaedrux Since the BL touch was working early on and now not, it occured to me after I left home that maybe the wires came loose through all the other manipulating I've been doing trying to get the thermistors and heaters working. I'll check them when I get back home after work. If they are seated well and there are no obvious issues, what do you suggest next?
On an older note, I got the heaters and tools all sorted, mostly. I added a mains powered bed (which isn't working yet - maybe the SSR) and accordingly bed heater in the configurator. Now the other two tools are showing as well.
At first the thermistor for nozzle 1 was showing wacky numbers and naturally the heater was faulting. I realized this morning that somewhere along the way I switched to PT100 thermistors and forgot about it...very old printer. At lunch I switched back to a standard E3D thermistor and now it appears to be working!
Just gotta get the BLtouch working now then the bed.

@phaedrux You were correct. The white wire broke off of the male plug end. Ended up not needing the ! after all. It is working properly now. Thank you for the help there.
