@sgk
If you move the bed away from the probe, say to Z=5, does then doing a G30 or a G30 S-1 result in the bed moving and triggering the probe?

@fcwilt yes

the bed remains loing of the nozzle

OK so the probe IS working.
After doing a G30 or a G30 S-1 it is normal for the probe to end up a small distance away from the bed.
That distance is the dive height (the H parameter of M558) plus the Z Trigger Height (the Z parameter of G31).
Does that appear to be what is happening when you do a G30 or G30 S-1?

OK that indicates the Z Trigger Height parameter of the G31 is wrong.
If after doing a G30 and then moving to Z=0 if the nozzle is not just touching the bed you need to increase the Z Trigger Height parameter of the G31.
If the nozzle touches the bed before you get to Z=0 then you need to decrease the Z Trigger Height parameter of the G31.
Of course when you make a change to the G31 command it needs to be executed for that change to take effect.
When you have found the correct value for the Z Trigger Height parameter of the G31 then when moving to Z=0 after doing a G30 the nozzle should just touch the surface of the bed.

Small objection from me
I don't think that this solves your Problem, but you're running an old DWC Version ....
