WiFi reported error : lost connection auto reconnecting
-
Hi folk!
I'm in a long print (24h) that will finish in a couple of hours , so probably I can't interact much with the printer at the moment.
Yesterday at 1AM I turned off the computer and before it the Duet WC was working properly.
This morning (more or less 7AM) I tried to connect the board as usual with my bookmarked link and no answer by the server. (So I checked the panel due 7i)"WiFi report error : lost connection auto reconnecting"
"WiFi report error : timed out while trying to connect to ... "
"WiFi report error : no networks found"
"WiFi module is idle"
And so on in loop...Is the first time that this happen in my config and is the first time I try a so long print.
The firmware is the 3.3
I have a macro for reset the network but this is the result "error: failed to add SSID to remembered list SPI timeout".
When I tried to reset the network I heard the print block for an instant. My heart stopped too. But then it continued.
Is this a sporadic phenomenon that can happen or I can check something for investigate the issue?
I can access just to the panel due via touch.
How I can scroll the the 7i console? -
First I would let the print finish before trying anything else lest you interrupt it.
Once it's finished, try power cycling. If it still doesn't connect I would try clearing all saved networks with
M588 S"*"
and re adding it again with M587. If that doesn't work, try reflashing the module withM997 S1

You cannot. It doesn't have enough ram to store a lot of console messages.

@phaedrux
At print finished I just restarted and soon it worked again. I would know why it had such behavior ....
Thanks for the commands if it happen again I'll try them -
Check the signal strength with M122. If it's marginal it may not be able to maintain connection if there is interference.
Also make sure the wifi server is running version 1.26 that comes with firmware 3.3

The board is 2m in strait line in the same room of the router.
"Intereference" ... maybe the fan (120mm) over the board? But is the first time happen and the fan is always the same as always.
(I swear ones finished the enclosure I'll fix that mess of wires )
