Cr10 heatbed stays in tuning mode
-
hi all digged myself in an new problem
the thing is the following.
when execute a m30315-3-2021 17:14:52 Auto tune starting phase 3, fan off *
15-3-2021 17:07:07 Auto tune starting phase 2, heater settling
15-3-2021 17:02:33 Auto tune starting phase 1, heater on
15-3-2021 17:02:28 M303 H0 S50 c5
Auto tuning heater 0 using target temperature 50.0°C and PWM 1.00 - do not leave printer unattendedi got a stock cr10 bed. 12v and a default sensor.
hardware is stock creality cr10 but made it dual z-axis with splitted cable for two steppers
Duet wifi with paneldue
Bondtech cr19 directdrive kit with e3d v6since this is prob my 8 time to pidtune the bed i thought the cycles where to much so i added only for now C5
but still the board is not coming out of tuning mode..
its idle for 3 hours orso*question the fan is always on its the one cooling the e3dv6
the other fan blowing below nozzle is not spinning when i do a m303 command..
is there something off on my side

the new tuning can take a long time to complete. it also looks like your bed takes a very long time to heat up and cool down.
It may go for as many as 30 cycles.
As far as i'm aware, C does nothing on the new tuning algorithm.
just leave it to do its thing -
ok than i will have to get me some patience i think. thank u.
-
weee i just noticed it did stopped it was giving this command
M307 H0 R0.159 C614.2 D0.51 S1.00 V12.4
is this a normal outcome? and is there any info to read what this all is doing
thanks -
@Lampie yes, thats normal
you can either save that using M500 and make sure you have M501 at the end of your config or replace the M307 command you should already have for your bed.
when you come to tune your hotend, tune it as a tool rather than a heater, so M303 T0 S220.
move the nozzle so its about 5mm above your bed so its simulating real printing
