Stealthchop on z axis with 3 z motors ?
-
hallo,
i own a duet3 on an ratrig corexy with 3 ldo motors.
bed leveling is really nice on this way.
now i switched to stealthchop for xy and z. after reading a how to it works and the m569 px command give me the tunning result for the xy axis. but not for the 3 z axis. they running quite but m569 p4 give me
Drive 4 runs in reverse, active low enable, timing fast, mode stealthChop, ccr 0x08053, toff 3, tblank 1, thigh 5 (375.0 mm/sec), tpwmthrs 5 (375.0 mm/sec), pwmScaleSum 28, pwmScaleAuto 1, pwmOfsAuto 27, pwmGradAuto 0, pos 842
config.g
i am confused about this.....homeall (1).g -

not sure what you mean, it says its using stealthchop

i have readed that for using stealthchop i have to running the tuning procedur an the result will show in pwmGradAuto. if i am right than means this that pwmGradAuto 0 mean that this tuning procedur was not successfully. this is what i readed in other posts here

Do you mean from this thread?
https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/21296/resonance-spreadcycle-and-stealthchop/19?_=1613410278985The tuning procedure only needs to be a small movement for the drivers to auto tune themselves. The data sheet says a normal homing procedure should suffice.

i just check my printer.
M569 P0
Drive 0 runs forwards, active low enable, timing fast, mode stealthChop, ccr 0x00053, toff 3, tblank 0, tpwmthrs 10 (375.0 mm/sec), pwmScaleSum 26, pwmScaleAuto 0, pwmOfsAuto 56, pwmGradAuto 23, pos 888then i restarted and did it again.
M569 P0
Drive 0 runs forwards, active low enable, timing fast, mode stealthChop, ccr 0x00053, toff 3, tblank 0, tpwmthrs 10 (375.0 mm/sec), pwmScaleSum 28, pwmScaleAuto 1, pwmOfsAuto 59, pwmGradAuto 21, pos 152in both cases stealthchop works fine

yes also this thread.
but i think i was wrong and the tuning on the 3 z motors is succesfully.
i was confused about the pwmGradAuto 0 stays on 0 but other parameters is changing
