config.json update not works + configtool Nozzle Temp Limit
-
Hello
I have made changes to the config file but they are not updated automatically in the config.json file.
This means that the file can no longer be used because the two files no longer match.I also have the problem when I use the configtool to set a Nozzle Temp. Limit it not works.
The file from https://configtool.reprapfirmware.org/Heaters then does not contain the entered temperature limit.
That for the Heat Bed works.
I testet it with a other WebBrowser with a template. And cange it to Duet 3.
Then is not a Limit for the Nozzle in the config file.
When i not cange to Duet 3 it works. -

Correct. Once you have manually edited the config it will not be possible to bring those changes back into the config tool. The config tool is limited in what it can do.
I don't understand your comment about temp limits.

temp limits
On the configtool you can set the max temp for the Nozzle.
And that not works.
The command for this is missing in the configuration config file.
But only if you select as Board Duet 3It seems to be a bug in the configtool.

Thanks for the report. I've been able to reproduce it. Whenever RRF3 is chosen, the temp limit for the hotend doesn't get added. We'll look into it.

@Phaedrux - generating a M307 temp model range - for that selected - nozzle temp limit - would be nice
People are using high temperature filaments and require 400 to 450 C temperatures
I’m using a mosquito magnum + high temperature thermistor + 50 W 24 V heater cartridge
And cannot reach 400 C plus temperatures, continuously trying to figure this out
PLA is for amateurs - High temperature filaments Ultem 9085 / 1010 - PC etc
