Duet 2 Wifi: Not responding at all
-
It has no temp to speak of.
-
the hole or crater on the chip suggest it let the magic smoke out. (that is the chip that makes the 3.3v)
closer look may suggest fan0 have had some surplus excitement as well?
-
It was wired directly to the diagrams. I don't understand. I triple checked everything before I put it on the board.
-
hmm, could be some debris near the cpu 3.3v supply; also looks like something bad happened down there.
-
In any case its gonna need a new 3.3v regulator, probably a fan mosfet and possibly a processor. Maybe more, hard to say without clear picture of the whole board, even then its a bit uncertain.
I'll leave it to the Duet people to determine the cause and action to take.

@bearer Ughhhhh.....dang. It was fine last night, then this. Thanks for the help
-
It would appear that something may have made contact with the board and shorted some pins.
Is this a new board and installation? Was it installed in an enclosure? -
@Phaedrux Brand new board and it was mounted before I took the pics.

We will extend to you the benefit of the doubt and offer a warranty replacement provided the board was purchased within the previous 6 months from an authorized reseller. Please contact your vendor to initiate a warranty replacement. You can direct them to this thread as authorization. Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.
