heater fault

so this has poped up a few times. keep getting a random heater fault. i thought it was the old heater chartrage or thermsistor. so i replace the 30w heater with a new 40w and a new heat block, thermsistor, nozzle and heat break.
it happen again. it didnt seem to want to try to heat the heater after i stopped the print and homed the machine
any idea why this happens? frist time with the new heater -
@BenDiesel The temperature trace shows some sharp excursions as well as the slower drift and ripple. The slower drift is "natural" cool down, the sharper excursions is what happens when the signal changes suddenly. Given that you've replaced all the components, the only thing left is the wiring. A bad crimp perhaps? That's the most common reason.

interesting. i didnt think of that. how would i check it? it happen during bed probing cycle

Short of "wiggling" the wires around while observing the temperature reading, I can't think of how else to check. But if it happens while probing, its another indication that something changes as the wires move around.
