External perimeter problem
-
Hello, I have a problem with my delta, I say that I did all the tests of the step mm E and many tests on the slicer but the situation does not change, I have problems of excessive material at the beginning of the perimeter even if I decrease the flow the result does not change. Is there any parameter where you can adjust this problem? I use a direct system. I noticed that the seam is very swollen.

Have you tuned pressure advance?
-
At what layer heights, extrusion widths, and print speeds are you seeing this happen?
-
@Phaedrux Is it normal that activating the M572 command makes a strange noise? It's very annoying
-
Yep agree , more info please.
Could be a calibration issue? The delta printers are specialized in produce uneven surfaces. Specially if geometries are not very well settled.
When too close at the bed the nozzle accumulate pressure and when the nozzle rise all the material come released creating that effect. Is possible is happening to you? Have you tried to rotate the part on the bed for study symmetries ?
If it happen only outside maybe is the radius wrong. As stated above it press in the center and release on the sides. -
@bot In any case, you highlight the problem I have very swollen seams
-
@giostark I use smart effector leveling is very precise, I have a nozzle from 0.4 and use volcano
-
Please post your config.g so we can see your speed settings.
The noise can be from the extra movement of the extruder when using pressure advance. But I can't say more without more details.

Ok I misunderstand at all how the problem look like. SORRY. You write "beginning" . I don't know why I figured the whole length of the perimeter I'm drunk of tiredness,
So trying be more useful...
This happen after a retraction? Have you enabled "retraction at layer change"?Is something more like you would apply a negative "extra prime amount" after a retraction?
Look at this post if there is something similar or helpful for your case:

@giostark As soon as every perimeter that does at any height starts, the perimeter begins with too much material but only where the retraction begins, to better understand along the entire seam.

@Phaedrux Tomorrow morning I'll put all the necessary information
-
@giostark That's right, I have the same blobs of this discussion that you linked to me
