very low / nil extrusion in one corner of the print
-
I've direct setup
-
I'm getting the below warning message
Warning: motor phase B may be disconnected reported by driver(s) 3 -
@Milan Maybe X motor became too warm (weakest of the 3 motors) and is damaged. Neodym looses magnetism when more than 80 °C.
-
@Milan If you configuration of the other thread is your current configuration, the current settings for the drivers is very low (only 800 mA in M906), so maybe your stepper is still intact and only too weak for X, firmware thinking you're finished in X and stopping extruding.
-
The motors at normal temp, that rattling happening only in that region alone
-
should I try increasing the current 800mA to 1000mA -1200mA, hope that helps
-
@Milan Your stepper should have a specification about current, then set according to https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Choosing_and_connecting_stepper_motors#Section_Rated_current
But check first whether the external drivers support the high current also.
Nema 23 and Nema 34 have typically between 2.5 and 7 A current, but on the datasheet the correct current should be mentioned. -
Hi,
One or more of the wires to the stepper may be poorly connected and movement into that area causes the connection to be intermittent.

I've changed , but no change, uploading the video..
-
@Milan Can you please send an image of the printer in complete view (there may be printer type specific reasons like for a Delta) and your current config file?
-
@Milan And one more idea: exchanging the driver/stepper between X and Y would show:
- if nothing changes, problem is with extruder, or filament stuck
- if problem moves to a different corner, the problem is with the X stepper/driver/configuration

@Milan Nice to hear that you have the solution!!
