DWC 2.0 Release - ATX Power
-
In versions below 2 it was possible to disable and remove the ATX power control in the #Dashboard. Many of us do not use ATX power supplies. Can you make this option selectable / disabled / Removed?
-
I'll second that. I don't have that feature on my power supplies so it's just wasted space for me.
-
@grizewald I have to object: I use a separate 5V power supply for the Duet/Duex and some servos. Via ATX power control and an SSR, I toggle a big fat PSU to power all the rest. It’s very nice to run the printer in „stealth mode“ as long as I merely edit my Gcodes.
-
@infiniteloop I wasn't suggesting that the feature should be removed for all users, merely that those of us who don't/can't use it would appreciate the ability to remove the item from the page.

Once you upgrade to RRFv3, that ATX power panel will be only displayed if you use M80/81 somewhere (e.g. in your config.g). That change didn't make it into the latest RRFv2 release.
-
@grizewald Yep. I just wanted to point out the usefulness of the ATX power control button in scenarios different from the intended usage as soft-power-on/-off switch for ATX PSUs.

That sounds perfect; thanks for letting us know.
