Hello again. I dont think the firmware was corrupt since i reinstalled it many times to counter this issue. What I've done now, is empting all the old gcode files. I had like a GB of gcodes on the SD card. I have tested the last couple of days to see if it happens again, but so far it works normally.

Cannot read file, error code 1
Hi, Recently I added a heated bed to my printer. the heated bed works fine but now the printer stops printing randomly and relaying the message: Cannot read file, error code 1. Cancelled printing file Y-carriage_MGN9-H_MOUNT.gcode, print time was 0h 22m. It happens with any gcode file. And when I restart the print, it stops a the exact same point and with the same massage.
I thought it was a corrupted sd card, so i replaced it, but the problem still persisted. Updating Firmware didnt work either - resulted in even more problems.
While trying to dowload it via the web interface it stops about where the print stopped, followed with the duet losing connection.Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on? Or am I doing something wrong?

RE: Cannot update Firmware
Following your instructions allowed me to start the web interface. Why is it, that it wont start automaticly? Sending the M552 command says:
Network is enabled, configured IP address: 0.0.0.0, actual IP address: 192.168.1.118I flashed the firmware again through the web interface and now it works normaly. The web interface starts normaly aswell and can connect anytime using pronterface. I still dont know what the exact issue was but ill post here if it fails again.
Before you replied I redownloaded iap4e.bin und put it on the sd card, maybe that had en effect?
Thank you very much for your help.

Cannot update Firmware
hello , so I wanted to report an issue of my printer stopping mid print with the message: Cannot read file, error code 1. Cancelled printing file Y-carriage_MGN9-H_MOUNT.gcode, print time was 0h 37m
But now i have another issue.I replaced the sd card. reuploaded the gcode with no success.
As a last messure i wanted to update the firmware (even though it already was the latest firmware) and everything pretty much broke. No web interface. no connection via pronterface. So i downloaded SAM-BA and did everything according to the installation guide and at least a can connect now via pronterface, but still no web interface. when i run the m997 s0 command, the printer wont reconnect afterwards.
latest version of iap4e.bin didnt help either. Can someone please help?
I have a DuetEthernet Board

RE: Duet Ethernet wont connect to Network
Alright. This is weird. So I removed the Board from the Printer to hook it up directly to the computer. And then it worked. The LEDs lit up and i was able to access the webtool.
But then when i shoved it back in the printer reconnected everything but then it didnt work.
i found that when i unplug the IR-Probe the board works normally. This is super wierd. Does the board go through a selfcheck each startup und something is wrong with my IR-probe? -
RE: Duet Ethernet wont connect to Network
No the Board is not showing. I tried assigning an andress but nothing happens. Not even the LED on the connector light up, On the switch or the Duet.
Something else when i try to update the board it asks for Duet2CombinedFirmware.bin and not DuetEthernetFirmaware.bin. Maybe this is what's causing the Problem? When i assigne an adress the response is:
SENDING:M552
Network is enabled, configured IP address: 192.168.1.105, actual IP address: 192.168.1.105but still no connection.

Duet Ethernet wont connect to Network
Hi everyone
Im new here so please bear with me.So I've been building a costum 3Dprinter from scratch and am now trying to install the duetEthernet.
I've had the Ethernet hooked up in my old printer and it was working perfectly. Now i've transfered it all over to the new one and suddenly it wont connect to the Network anymore. It still connects via USB and i can send commands via Pronterface, but everything i tried so far didnt fix the problem. Here's a list of stuff i tried:
-Firmware update
-diffrent cable and ports
-reconfigured the whole configfile
-diffrent sd cardIm pretty sure the board isnt damaged. I can still disable and enable the Network.
when i send the command m552 this is what it gives me back:
SENDING:M552
Network is enabled, configured IP address: 0.0.0.0, actual IP address: 0.0.0.0Im kinda lost now and dont know what i should do. So maybe someone here can help?
Thanks in advance.
