I think you have a bad motor connection. So double check your wiring and crimps before doing any more movement to prevent damage to the driver.
@Wiltonio sounds like you aren't running a proper config. I suggest you revisit the config you have and replace it with the appropriate one from the firmware pack from ooznest https://learn.ooznest.co.uk/Wiki/WorkBee_Firmware_Releases
Can you post your config files? We need to see the gcode files to know what it is doing. Config.g, homing macros, etc.
Also post the results of M122 and M98 P"config.g".
