RE: New Wifi install problems, need help
Did you follow this for connecting and setting up your endstops? https://duet3d.com/wiki/Connecting_endstop_switches

RE: New Wifi install problems, need help
Watch the video and check you wiring on the steppers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0pGKgos498

RE: New Wifi install problems, need help
Have you check that you have the stepper motor wire connected correctly? in the correct coil pairs
-
RE: New Wifi install problems, need help
Do you mean that the steppers are turning the wrong direction or rotation? or just not working at all

RE: Aluminum surface treatment options?
Just run a bunch of G30 S-1 commands where you plan on probing the bed and see if they come back consistently the same or very close from each probe like within 0.01 of each other. Wile I don't print on my aluminum bed bare I did probe it a lot when building my printer and the ir seemed to work fine with it

RE: Aluminum surface treatment options?
What surface are you going to print on? Just the bare aluminum or glass or PEI?

RE: Converting the Duet WiFi to use an external antenna
I did the modification on one of my Duet's and it did improve my signal strength but there are easier ways to do that than possibly ruining the control board. I would not recommend this mod for the novice or faint of heart. It can go really well or really bad in the space of a few seconds. But if you still want to do it one thing that wasn't mentioned is that you will have to load the wifiserver bin on to the new wifi module once you solder it on via USB and SD card using an M997 S1 command or at least thats how I got mine to work.

RE: New firmware 1.20beta1
What error screen?
Sorry should have specfic
The blue box in the camera feed box with the temp error.
Sliced in KISS using the same profile that I usually use and haven't seen this behavior before where it keeps on flashing every few seconds, but I'll check the slicer profile again to see if I changed anything -
RE: New firmware 1.20beta1
Is this the Error bug in DWC ? It keeps flashing every 5 or 10 seconds. Seems to be printing fine, just repeating the error screen over and over.

RE: Extruder goes too fast sometimes with Cura and other slicing sw….
Try putting an M82 not M83 in your start code and that should fix it

RE: More fried PWM fan MOSFETs (probably)
I also blew a couple of the fan mosfets, my fault , and was able to replace them without using a hot air station. I used a small pointy soldering tip and liquid flux and some small copper braid and no coffee before doing it. If you don't have much soldering experience I would suggest watching a few youtube videos on SMT removal without a hot air station and practicing on some junk electronics first.

RE: Firmware update having issue with network
Are you sending M587 S"your-network-ssid" P"your-network-password" or just M587 S"SSID"

RE: Firmware 1.19.2 released
Did we lose the ability to edit an existing macro with 1.19?
I haven't been able to since the upgrade.
I can check the box next to one but don't see a delete or edit option. Clicking the name pulls up the confirmation dialog asking if I want to run it or not.
Also since the 1.19 update, when I scroll down in Chrome to look at time estimates/etc, within 2 seconds it updates something at the top and resets the scroll back to the top.
Hover over the name of the macro and right click and you'll see a menu popup to edit and delete

RE: Webcam integration. URL not remembered/saved
I think that it may be on the PC since I just tried a different laptop and my cam and other settings didn't show up as they do on the computer that I usually use.

RE: Webcam integration. URL not remembered/saved
Are you clicking on the apply settings button after entering the webcam URL?

RE: No networks found after 1.19+4 upgrade
M587 when called should your home wifi SSID, it looks like you programmed in your machine name instead of your wifi access point and password.
This link may help: https://duet3d.com/wiki/Getting_connected_to_the_Duet_WiFi
look at the Connecting to your access point using firmware 1.19 or later section
Connect via USB and pronterface or the like and:
You can use M588 to erase the coyote delta , just send M552 S0 and then M588 S"COYOTE DELTA" and the same for the lower case to delete themAnd the send M587 S"your-network-ssid" P"your-network-password"
and lastly M552 S1 and it should connect to the strongest network if you have entered more than oneAlso I reserve the right to be completely wrong if I am but it worked for me

RE: Firmware 1.19+3 (1.19.1 release candidate)
Uploaded the firmware without any issues and printed 3 separate prints on a Ultibots D300VS delta printer.
I did not run across any issues, Everything turned on and off when it was supposed to. -
