@dc42 No worries, I know it is too old. For now I have a new board installed and it is working good. I will mess with the other one when I have some free time. Thanks for all the assistance on this.
@Veti I had not done that as I am able to reproduce the issue manually. If I manually moved the head by hand, wiggle the connector I can cause the failure.
By providing more strain relief for the connector it works without any issues.
If you're not in a hurry the next revision of the toolboard has better support for running the fan output at Vin(24v of you're so inclined).
Don't think I've seen a timeframe for that, on the other side the fan selection of much better at 12v, i purchased 24v hemera and a dedicated 4 wire fan for 12v with future toolboard in mind.
