@Phaedrux I figured out the issue. I had bought pre-made wire harnesses and on the Z wires the insulation was not stripped back where the crimp was. I spliced and re crimped the wires and now have movement!

Howdy y'all! I know learning new things can be challenging but learning Rep Rap is BRUTAL.
Anyways I have been trying to figure out how to get triple z working on rep rap firmware It has to be something simple that I am overlooking. I haven't even gotten to coding for tool heads yet as my z axis just makes a buzzing noise and does not move any motor.
I have plugged each stepper into the x\y port and verified that the motors are functioning.Please help!
I will eventually be adding 2 additional 3HC boards via CAN if I could get some pointers on adding that as well it would be greatly appreciated.
