RE: Stepper motor
Have tried 3 cables and 4 stepper motors. Still the same, vibration but not turning.

Stepper motor
Hi, I replaced the stock board in a Chiron for a Duet2 WiFi. No matter what I did, I could not get the Z motors to turn, they would only vibrate. I had a second board so I just replaced it. Now the Z motors work but the X motor vibrates and moves in both directions for a few centimetres. I used the same SD card with each board. What am i doing wrong?
Thanks -
RE: Will not home to X now
Found it guys, Thank you for all your assistance. The connector had come away from the endstop. All working great again now.

RE: Will not home to X now
Additionally. when trying to home from the paneldue the head is moving about 10mm each time i press it AWAY from the home position.

Will not home to X now
Hi, Machine has been running fine no problems. Finished a print and found the head was at the far right of the X axis, the limit switch is on the left.
When trying to home the X, I get an error message "Error bad command"Manual move via the Paneldue will move the X away from the endstop but not more than a single movement towards it.
I replaced the micro sd card with 3 different working backups that were all previously checked and confirmed working ,but the problem still persists.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you. -

RE: Printing stop momentarily
@Rattlemycage, It is seemly random. On a single layer of an object perimeter, say 4 inches by 5, it might actually come to a stop 7 or more times. I tried to upload a video but my files are larger than the 4mb permitted.

I increased the speed. without success. Still stopping. What am I missing guys?

I am printing the file via the Duet Web Control 2.0.4
The slicer is Simplify3D.
When the head stops it leaves small blobs of filament.

I am not using using bed mesh compensation. What speeds do you suggest i take my Z Jerk and Accel ?
More so how do I alter it?

Printing stop momentarily
Hi all, I have a problem with the head stopping for a second or so about every minute or less depending on the size of the object being printed. All my other printers are a fluid motion, this Duet2 WiFi one appears to be jerking and stopping and starting.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
This is the Diagnostics log.
ThanksM122

Is there a macro to reset the wifi?
I recently upgraded a machine with a Duet2 Wifi. For the last few days, when on a long print I sometimes lose the wifi connection.
The blue LED is lit but my computer will not connect. It is sometimes listed on the router but not always.
I have the Paneldue and wonder if a macro could be made to reset the wifi. Thanks.
