RE: Bltouch vs Piezo
I just wanted to switch from ramps to duetwifi. In the end i switched from T5 to GT2, from ramps to duetwifi and from magnetic zstop to piezo 20 zprobe. The piezo20 forced me to switch over to E3D Hotend. At all i like the new Setup a lot.
Piezo20 right from the shop has that Groovemount, because i had´nt i had to buy E3D (or eqivalent). Maybe an disadvantage by price.
for me it is worth the Price… -

Typical update process - how?
in https://duet3d.com/wiki/Updating_more_than_one_firmware_at_a_time it is recommended the following order.
1. DuetWiFiFirmware or DuetEthernetFirmware
2. DuetWiFiServer (Duet WiFi only)
3. DuetWebControlif i look in https://github.com/dc42/RepRapFirmware/tree/dev/EdgeRelease there are several files
DuetEthernetFirmware.bin
DuetWiFiFirmware.bin
DuetWiFiServer.bin
RepRapFirmware-Alligator.bin
RepRapFirmware-RADDS.bin
RepRapFirmware.binThe questions are, when should i update RepRapFirmware.bin? before or after DuetWiFiFirmware.bin and DuetWiFiServer.bin or shouldn't? No DuetWebControl.bin exists means no reason to update it?
Atm i´m at 1.20 stable, thanks…

Firmware configurator and sensorless homing/zprobe
I have bought the wifiboard, i love it. I have first tried and managed to update to 1.20. Second step was to generate configuration with configurator.
In new year i have to install duetwifi in my printer and recalibrate the slicer :).
By now i didn't find option in online firmware configurator for sensorless homing/zprobe… Maybe because its new feature and configurator have to be updated first..
So on, my first Post. Thanks to the developers, i like this Board a lot.
Happy new Year.
