RE: How i get my z probe working?
Hi, tried that… the G30 S-1, worked not like discribed
Like the manual said, i moved my nozzle into middle (to X220 Y250) of my bed. Drop my nozzle til 0,05mm and send the G92 Z0...
than G1 Z5
So far so good
if i send the G30 S-1 my head drives to X25 Y93 Z40, than to X-5 Y93, but he moves only a couple mm, than he zeros to X0 Y0 Z35
than he raised the bed and tells me the triggerheight...0.225mm as example, i get no consitent values
than he goes to X-59 Y66 Z40 and zeros again to X0 Y0 Z35
after homing in the first round he crashed because of the X-59 in my x endstop....Can somebody tell me what is going on with my printer????
Please help me...

How i get my z probe working?
Hi, i am sorry that will buffer you again with my questions…but after 3 days i am out of ideas
I have an PNP Inductive sensor, the sensor is so far right connected, and the web interface tells me an z probe value of 1000 if triggered, 0 if not.
The sensor out is connected with Zprobe in on my Duet Wifi board.
FW is 1.19.2
What are the right parameters in my config.g that i get a mesh leveling?
Please help!Here my config

RE: Dual function, laser engraving and fdm printing on one printer.
I dont know yet, it depends how the program will create the gcode. I think it would be good to use Lasergrbl for that. But if understand you right, is such an combination with the duet wifi possible? Other cheap china engravers has no enstops, which makes it difficult to reproduce quality. I want to engrave a lot earmarks for my sheeps, for that i want to print an holder for all earmarks for exact positioning as example. And with the z axis i could easy adjust the focus???
Maurice
By the way
Thanks for the great support. -
Dual function, laser engraving and fdm printing on one printer.
I builded me an big (455×552×432 build volume) printer. I used the Duet Wifi with the Duex5, because every axis has 2 motors.
I want to mount an Lasermodul on the other side of my printhead. For the printer i used the Makerbot principle with one extruder for now. Is it possible to configurate the laser on E1 and also with the possibilities of the Duex5? I think in the same way i could use than my plasma cutter instead of the laser.
Can you tell how i have to configure my config.g
Thanks alot

Short to ground and overtemp @ driver 1
Hello, since a long time i startet my Printer again for some prints.
After one print, I got this error message.
16:04:22
Warning: Error: Short-to-ground on drivers 1
Warning: Error: Over temperature shutdown on drivers 1
16:04:18
Warning: Error: Short-to-ground on drivers 1
Warning: Error: Over temperature shutdown on drivers 1After disconnecting the z steppermotor i got still the same message… The chip is still hot.
Has somebody an idea? I changed nothing and before it worked fine in this configuration...
Than i upgraded the firmware to 1.20...here my config and the M122 Report
