@dtmcnamara it took me several minutes to flash 100 pages or so on duet 2 upgrading the firmware, perhaps that is different

RE: My wi-fi constantly disconnects every few minutes.
@matthew-81 and I'm going to read up on the access point thing I always knew about bridged mode which completely bypasses the Xfinity router I did not know I could do what you are saying and I want to try that for sure because it's really my last option before just buying a ethernet adapter thank you for that idea and hopefully I learn something along the way

RE: My wi-fi constantly disconnects every few minutes.
@droftarts lol ,sorry man I just woke up. And I did put in my original post I think that I already did the 2.4 GHz thing that was one of the first things I did. I have the 2.4 because several of my devices in the house mainly the cameras will not work with five G and the 5G everybody uses for their TVs and phones. I thought there was individual channels as well on each separate Wi-Fi band and that was what I was trying to say

RE: My wi-fi constantly disconnects every few minutes.
@droftarts I don't mean to sound stupid but which one of those three files do I use to update the module it says warning do not use the third one on duet electronics, but I'm suspecting that's the one I'm supposed to use because the other two say they're for different boards than what I have I have the 2? Or is it the very first one that says module.

RE: My wi-fi constantly disconnects every few minutes.
@droftarts I had investigated the channel thing previously when I come across it in some reading and I went all through my router and the settings. My old 6-channel router that I had set up in bridged mode through Xfinity had all kinds of different settings that I could have changed but we had gotten a updated one through Xfinity because we were having disconnects and issues with the TVs in the house and we got rid of the aftermarket one. I went all through xfinity's website and they're saying that that part of their system is controlled automatically now it is something they used to allow you to individually change or set but now it picks the channels for you and there isn't really any way to set certain channels to certain devices anymore. So I'm kind of screwed on that unless I buy a another router that cost a couple hundred bucks. I still have the old Netgear 6 channel but she didn't like it and claimed that it was causing disconnections and pushed me to get the new updated one through Xfinity, if there was a way that I could use them both and just have my own router and let everybody else use the Xfinity one I would attempt it but I'm thinking I might order an adapter so I can just plug in directly , we have her son's Xbox set up like that and it works a lot better for him.

RE: Migrating from 2.05.1 to 3.0 and 3.4.5 ,BLTouch and Fan Issues
@TAS_3D thank you very much, the same problem here. I spent a few weeks on mine and as soon as I started to get things working I had to start work again. I'm going to spend some time with it today, thanks for the instructions.

My wi-fi constantly disconnects every few minutes.
i was asked to start a new thread so here is my issue,it's continuously disconnecting, so it's close to impossible to upload anything through the web control. I reflashed the board twice with 3.4.5 from GitHub and reformatted and and rebuilt the SD card files so many times so many different ways, I tried using the board as a access point hooked to my laptop and controlling with another device. I spent hours on my Xfinity router changing settings, and trying different stuff. What I have found so far is DHCP is where it's the worst, unusable to be honest,20 -30 seconds at a time usually. I created a split band on the router so it had its own 2.4 Wi-Fi.... When I finally gave it and my laptop a fixed IP and turned DHCP off it got maybe 50 percent better. Now I can almost flash a combined firmware zip file from the RepRap config tool before it disconnects, usually at the end of the fonts folder or beginning of the js folder. I tried flashing the Wi-Fi from YAT. Every website online that tells you how to structure your SD card is different because of firmware changes over the years I'm guessing, some say put certain files in system some say put it in www, some say to put in firmware folder. I just added a additional port forward a few minutes ago,so it has port 80 and port 81. i cant tell if it helped or not yet.

I can't get corexy mode to function
I alt text so i have a major update, .. i had a code come up that said coil b on driver 2 was disconnected. i googled it and checked my plugs and i had a loose terminal that was sliding up when i plugged it into the board and breaking the signal. when i fixed that everything started working correctly???? all i needed to do was switch a motor plug the other way to change directions and everything works right so far. i never had that code in the entire week i screwed with it and still couldn't get corexy to work but suddenly bam i got that error fixed my plug and everything started to work.... unbelievable spent a week all day every day because i had off work and then suddenly its fixed even my bl touch.... i am grateful i found this forum and i will definitely spend some time on here learning as i go!!! thank you very much by the way for answering so quickly... i still have a annoying Wi-Fi issue where it disconnects randomly every 1 to 2 minutes and i cant seem to figure it out, setting a reserved ip on printer and laptop improved it from every 30 seconds but its still un workable for reliable online use.. if anyone could offer help or advice i would greatly appreciate it. i posted in detail everything i have tried so far as a reply to another thread with a identical problem but it was old and didn't appear to ever be resolved or they never posted a update to the fix they found. I'm still posting my config because i came from marlin and a lerdge before that and I'm inexperienced with editing code in folders and such and not exactly sure what kind of things to add or take away to improve or add to my printers capabilities, any info, or advice, or how to would be appreciated,i am pretty sure i should add some gcodes somewhere in my sd to add or take away some features. does my dual z setup completely configure itself for auto leveling
or is there things i should add somewhere? Lerdge boards are so easy ,if you can use a tv remote you can program one of those things and marlin was more on and off switches for things. I get the feeling with RepRap if i want something i must figure out what it is, what the gcodes are and where to add it on my Sd? I can work with no Wi-Fi and using a Sd card, I like this board, but I'm lost from this point beyond slicing something and printing it. I'm sure i will be back lol!!

RE: Periodic (every 20 seconds) disconnects from Duet Web Control
@ava_ I have the exact same problem. I just purchased my first duet2 wifi board because I had half a dozen issues issues with a BTT E3 V 3 and the screen it was sold with wouldn't connect, that thing was garbage and I hated it,I had a ledge z before that and I loved it, everything just worked great all the time from the day I bought it and I kinda miss it. I have a mercury one zero G mod I built over the wintertime and I'm struggling to make it work.Bit this wifi thing is horrible,it's continuously disconnecting, so it's close to impossible to upload anything through the web control. I reflashed the board twice with 3.4.5 from GitHub and reformatted and and rebuilt the SD card files so many times so many different ways,I tried using the board as a access point hooked to my laptop and controlling with another device. I spent hours on my Xfinity router changing settings, and trying different stuff. What I have found so far is DHCP is where it's the worst, unusable to be honest,20 -30 seconds at a time usually. I created a split band on the router so it had its own 2.4 wifi.... When I finally gave it and my laptop a fixed IP and turned DHCP off it got maybe 50 percent better. Now I can almost flash a combined firmware zip file from the reprap config tool before it disconnects, usually at the end of the fonts folder or beginning of the js folder. I tried flashing the wifi from YAT... I'm about a week in and at my wits end!! Even worse every damn website online that tells you how to structure your SD card is different, some say put certain files in system some say put it in www, some say to put in firmware folder,I just found this site and I'm praying I find some answers, lol oh and I almost forgot corexy refuses to work,x homes as expected but then y doesn't,I loosend my belts so it quit skipping so hard and all I can see is both motors were spinning at same time the same way, which is great for a x move but y needs each one to turn in opposite directions of each other which they refuse to do.... I thought reprap was going to be so much easier than marlin but it's not working out so good.... I have checked and rechecked settings on the online config tool,it's set on corexy but it refuses to work like it should......
