Forgot to mention it's a Duet 2 wifi. I actually have 2 boards with this same fault.

PWM fan0/fan1 output dead
Hi. Do you repair boards? I think I've managed to fry the fan1/fan2 PWM output. It'll give 24v but the fan just whines and won't turn. I've tried other fans and they all do the same. I'm currently using the duex.fan3 and duex.fan4 outputs instead as a getaround. It's been a while since I printed or did anything with the printer so I'm a little rusty so many be even doing something wrong myself??
it's an E3D Toolchanger, currently no hot end on T3

nothing whatsoever from the laptop

RE: Cannot connect to Duet 2 via USB, driver issue?
I don't see any changes to the lights or anything happening when I go through the erase process. Still nothing on device manager and nothing on Bossa either.

RE: Cannot connect to Duet 2 via USB, driver issue?
tried turning it off and on several times, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
I'm getting 4.75v at the 5v pins so not far off. Will try it on a PSU and see if anything different happens and if the on board 5v supply makes any difference to the USB one. Tried another laptop too and that won't detect it either. The DIAG LED is on all the time which suggests no firmware, but I can't flash it if I can't connect to it, can I? can anything be done via the SD card?
Also the fan fuse has blown. it's been messed with... I was sold it as "new and unused" but clearly it has been used.
I'm sending it back to the seller. Not worth the hassle chasing problems. Reliability was the main reason I bought it after similar issues with a bricked BTT board.

@phaedrux thanks. how the hell do I rectify that? I've tried all the ports and 3 different cables

Cannot connect to Duet 2 via USB, driver issue?
Hi, newbie here. Bought a second hand (but apparently unused.) duet 2 wifi V1.03. I have it hooked up to my window 10 laptop, it's showing in device manager on COM4 but it's saying
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
The specified request is not a valid operation for the target device."
I have 4 LED's on the board on the USB connector side.
I cannot get any further than this with it, can anyone help?
