Yes, it seems to be somwhat more difficult, and not impossible,
I cant give up on the duet boards when looking at this realistically, as they are a heavy investment and are genuinley a good, reliable board, so i took a different angle last night.
im going to have a play with DSF with the Pi and printer and work from there. this should open up some options that i am after.

So spent last night working out mainsail and Klipper,
i get ALOT of errors 
but i am unsure i have even set it up right, following the steps to flashing the firmware, i get a to a step where i configure the flash file in SSH and it asks about GPio pins to enable on startup? is a parameter needed for this?

So first time using the duet 3 6hc board in SBC.
I have been looking at the ribbon cable for the last few days and just completely confused if this is right!
Did duet change the ribbon cable in later models to what their wiki shows?

Any advice before I power it up
