I am trying to figure out the best way to connect a laser engraver to the duet wifi using a 24v power supply. I have searched and found 2 possible ways:

I am fine with connecting circuits but have no idea when it comes to how the circuits work or designing them. So a solution where I can buy the circuit would be preferable. What would you advise is the best, simplistic way?
