RE: Part Cooling Fan Reprap 3
@Phaedrux I thought they looked fine
How hard are they to replace? As long as I know what I'm looking at I can resolder new ones in. Or pivot to a heater pin to use for the fan

RE: Part Cooling Fan Reprap 3
@Phaedrux I'm moving the slider on he dashboard.
When I try M106 the fan remains off

Part Cooling Fan Reprap 3
Hello I cannot for the life of me get my part cooling fan to work
Part Cooling fan is plugged into fan 1 and heatsink fan is plugged into fan 2. I shorted the mosfet on the board for fan 0 so I shifted everything down. When I plug the part cooling fan into the always on pins, spins up no trouble.
The heat sink fan works just fine. Turns on at 45C as expected.

RE: shorted hot end cooling fan.
where are they at on the board. happy to replace them as long as i know what i am looking at
-
RE: shorted hot end cooling fan.
@dc42 tested continuity between the 3 non working fan outputs from the pins as well as from the back of the board and I come up with 0.2 Ohms.
I tried moving the jumper pin to 5V and putting a new 5v fan on but no luck there either.
-
RE: shorted hot end cooling fan.
@jens55 checked and replaced even just to be sure
-
RE: shorted hot end cooling fan.
forgot to add using 24 V fans. Also I measure across fan 0 V-fan and fan0- my multimeter reads 20V
-
shorted hot end cooling fan.
accidentally shorted the hot end cooling fan. Always on fans work fine, but fan 0, 1 and 2 I cannot get the fan to move.
I tested continuity per the image below from this thread https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/3652/shorted-hotend-fan-no-fan-work-anymore/3
and I have 0 ohms.
anything else I should look for?

RE: Z motor Issue during print
@dc42 alright plugged x and y into z slots and those are running just fine. Odd that a bad crimp showed up all of a sudden.
-
RE: more bltouch issues....
alright after re calibrating 5 times it is now finally working. Not sure why it took that many tries as nothing different but its working now. Other than new issue that cropped up but that is in a new thread

Z motor Issue during print
Started a print last night, and checked up on it a few times through the night. Came down this morning to find that the bed had moved all the way down to max and was the head was extruding still in mid air.
After stopping and trying to rehome the printer, find out that the z-axis will not move.
I got the following errors
Warning: motor phase B may be disconnected reported by driver(s) 2
and running M122 during homing of z-axis gave me
Supply voltage: min 23.5, current 23.8, max 24.5, under voltage events: 0, over voltage events: 0, power good: yes
Driver 0: standstill, SG min/max 0/132

Slowest loop: 3.38ms; fastest: 0.07ms
I2C nak errors 0, send timeouts 0, receive timeouts 0, finishTimeouts 0, resets 0I disconnected the z-axis inspected and all looked good. I then swapped each z motor out with the x-axis and homed the x-axis for each motor separately and motors worked just fine. What else could be the issue? I checked the connectors for the z-axis and I do not see any issues with any shorting there.

RE: more bltouch issues....
@Veti new wires fixed the z probe trigger issue. Now new problems is my z-offset is too much.
-
RE: more bltouch issues....
@Veti said in more bltouch issues....:
Please update to 2.04
Sorry I see where the new 2.04 was updated.
Updated firmware and still same issues
-
RE: more bltouch issues....
@Veti said in more bltouch issues....:
why do you have
M501 ; Load saved parameters from non-volatile memory
then?My guess is I deleted my old config override when I made changes and just have not ran M500 anytime since then.

RE: more bltouch issues....
@Veti said in more bltouch issues....:
please update to 2.04 release and retest. there was a problem with bltouch.
M305 P0 T100000 B4138 R4700 ; Set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 0
M305 P1 T100000 B4138 R4700 ; Set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 1B4138 is the default and almost certainly wrong for your thermistors
also post your config overwrite.
Currently running 2.04RC3
I do not have a config overwrite

more bltouch issues....
Back for more help on the BLTouch
BLTouch will not power on when printer is turned on, only with disconnecting the wire harness and reinserting the harness on the BLTouch will it power on, and perform self test.
Also started getting the following error out of the blue, after many successful prints
Error: Z probe already triggered before probing move started
Look at the web interface and I see that Z-Probe is triggered and showing 1000.
BLTouch light is solid red, and running the alarm release macro does not disengage the sensor.
