@jameswood It would also be fantastic if the list of filaments that's displayed when clicking "Load Filement" was sorted alphabetically or something. Currently it seems to be sorted by filesize? Custom sorting would be even better, or, if we're wishing really hard, subfolders!

RE: Same filament for multiple tools?
Upvoted! This would be so handy to have - I really don't want to make duplicate copies of each filament just to use the very useful Filaments feature. Being able to set retractions, flow rates, fan limits etc per-filament is a godsend and I currently miss it very much. So much that I'm considering.... duplication

RE: My Maestro Menu Files are now on github
Hi gang!
@mudcruzr thanks so much for these menus, they're really great. I was playing around with customising them for my CR10S, and ended up making a couple of Python scripts for creating and viewing the required images.
My scripts are here for anyone interested.
RRF-Gen.py
takes pretty much any standard image and converts it into the mono image needed by RRF. So you can create your images however you want, then chuck them through this.RRF-View.py
provides a very bare-bones, terminal-based preview of the image you have generated. This is a bit of an old thread now but I thought this was a good place to mention it! I hope someone finds these useful - I certainly did. By removing some friction in the image-creation process, I found it much easier to iterate and refine my tiny little images (for my fork of the @mudcruzr menus!).
Finally, I haven't really shared a project like this before, so, if anyone has any problems please let me know and I'll do my best?

RE: Adjusting speed - slic3r?
Hey gang - Slic3r was causing me problems by overwriting my speed, jerk, acceleration, etc. I agree with the idea that the slicer should stay out of all that.
The good news is that setting "G-code flavour" under Printer Settings -> General to "RepRap/Sprinter" (not Marlin) seems to disable acceleration, jerk, etc, settings in Slic3r. No more meddling. Phew!

Just a quick note to thank you all for pointing me in the right direction to get my Creality CR-10S screen working with the Maestro.
And a quick Thank YOU for confirming what I thought I needed to do on my CR-10S Complete with picture. Nice!!
EDIT: Ahhh ... Just looked at my 12864 board and I don't have a EXP3 header at all. When did you get your 10S?
Mine was from Nov 17. Did they add an SD Card to it later or something?Hey @puterpro - The good news is that you don't need EXP3 at all!
EXP3 is a combination of pins from EXP1 and EXP2, which is used on some Creality printers as a single-cable connection instead of 1 and 2. It's basically redundant, and not needed when connecting the screen to the Duet Maestro. Just connect EXP1 to EXP1 and EXP2 to EXP2 (after flipping them both on the screen board!!) and you'll be golden. This approach uses the original ribbon cables with no chopping.
My printer is a few months old now, I spose... yours might be newer. I have no SD reader on the screen board.
(Oh and so sorry for the slow reply!)

RE: Configuring 12864 LCD on Maestro?
Hey gang! Just a quick note to thank you all for pointing me in the right direction to get my Creality CR10S screen working with the Maestro.
I managed to pull the plastic connectors off the screen's EXP1 & 2 connectors, sliding them up and off the pins. Then I flipped them and slid them back on. No snipping or filing needed, just a prising thumbnail!
