Hi,
Thank you all for your patience, and for sticking with this to the end. I'll post the box back to the supplier tomorrow morning. I will update this thread when the new Duet arrives.

Hi,
Here's my config.g file, together with a pic of the bag the thermister came in.

Hi,
My Duet Wifi board seems to work brilliantly. Stepper motors move as expected, homing works, end stops work. Everything moves almost silently. Couldn't be happier.
HOWEVER, no matter what I do I get an "open circuit" error whenever I connect the hotend wiring. I've bought and tried three different hotend/thermister sets. Still the same error. In frustration I bought another board (a Maestro) and wired that one up - and the hotend works wonderfully. Really impressed. Without touching the wiring on the printer itself, I wired up the WiFi board (power and hotend) and the same issue - "open circuit".
Any suggestions?

Hi,
My Maestro board was working PERFECTLY, just as advertised. I went for lunch, and when I returned, it seems to have lost all connectivity - ethernet AND USB. I can't ping the IP address, and (of course) the browser can't open the web interface. I've checked the router DHCP table, and the correct MAC and IP addresses are there. As for USB - well, YAT tells me that no com ports are available.
Any idea what might have gone wrong?
First of all, thank you for responding. Doing this sort of thing from half way round the globe can be frustrating.
OK, I think I may not have the correct files on my SD card. It doesn't look right, somehow. Could someone spell out for me the steps from the point where I have downloaded the bog-standard Ender3Pro settings from the configuration site?
Oh, I forgot to mention that I have an Ender 3 Pro. I grabbed the files for the Ender from the configuration site, and unzipped them to the SD card. Then inserted the card and switched the printer on.
Hi,
I have a Maestro. I have set its IP address to 192.168.1.6
I have a laptop, IP address is 192.168.1.2
Both are connected to a router 192.168.1.1
I can ping the Maestro board. but I can't reach its IP address with my browser.
Help?
I have worked my way through the doc you pointed me to - with no change. I don't seem to be violating anything, or outside any parameters.
I have actually decided to give up on the WiFi, and have placed an order for the Maestro - that's how much I like the web interface. I will tackle the WiFi board on another day when I have recovered some of my original enthusiasm for WiFi. At the moment, I just want to get printing. My Ender 3 has been idle for 3 months now.
I am hoping that the Maestro will neatly side-step these issues, and allow me to make contact with the web interface and get printing again.
Thanks for your help,
Regards,
Duncan
