RE: M23CL Internal fuse blowmn
Thank you for this information, I am happy to know that I can keep my 48v power supply.
Concerning the fuse problem, this is resolved, I replaced the internal fuses identically (2A), and I installed inrush current limiters (2A) on each VIN power line (+) coming out of the tool distribution card.
Thank you both for your help!
I have another question regarding the M23CL (maybe create a new topic):
- Is it possible to configure a fixed origin with this type of closed loop motor, or is an end stop required as with standard motors?
I still have to do the PID adjustment of the motors, they are already running great, I can't wait to start manufacturing!
This is my first NC with a duet card, I am very happy with the duet products that I use on many 3D machines!
Sorry for the spelling mistakes, I'm French

RE: M23CL Internal fuse blowmn
Thank you for your quick feedback, it is very much appreciated.
The motors are connected to the Duet 3 Tool Distribution Board which is powered directly by the 48v power supply, they are therefore energized as soon as I turn on the electrical cabinet (red M23CL LED flashes), I checked the voltage of the cable power supply of the motor, I am at 48v permanently.
The motors are equipped with a brake, I noticed that the brake is 24V, wouldn't it be a problem to power the motors with 48V?
The fuse blew when I engaged the motors (M17 Y X), releasing the brake.
Could switching on the motors create an overvoltage and blow the fuse?Thank you very much for your help.

M23CL Internal fuse blowmn
Re: M23CL no led up!
Hello everyone,
I am currently building a CNC,
I have a problem with my M23CL motors with brake.
the internal fuse of my two motors has blown.I don't understand where this could come from, the motors worked correctly after their settings, correct movement on X and Y, and this evening when turning on the machine, I made a homing and clack, no more red LEDs, no more movement!
Diagnostic = INTERNAL FUSE failure
I would like to replace this fuse but I don't know these values, could you please send them to me.
So could you tell me a possible cause of this problem?
I use a high quality 48V power supply. The motors are connected to a Duet 3 Tool Distribution Board and are powered by it.
Thank you for your help
