Hey guys!

My name is Rok, i come from Slovenia, EU and i am a 3D printing geek. At home i have Ender 3 V2, Bambu P1P and one Voron in the making...

But printers at home actually work I have an issue with the Creatbot F430 that we have at work, which is giving me headaches. Especially bad is the general print quality. Overextrusion, no pressure at start of a layer ( underextrusion), ant nothing i could possibly doo seems to help...

I have E steps set correctly in the firmware, but still, i have to print at 85% flow to not get extreme overextrusion. Every setting was double checked and slicing done in both original CreatWare and Prusaslicer...

So apart from finding a solution, i can see us dumping this printer in the thrash and buy something, that is plug&play, set and forget ( Bambu X1C or X1E).

Still, i am prepared for one last hoorah. I would like to change extruder and mainboard for this printer ( at the very least)... Unfortunately, the documentation of this transformation is not presented in a lot of detail and there are many holes in the posts that my mind cannot fulfill.

Is there anyone who could explain in greater detail what is actually needed for conversion and how to do it? If i need only the mainboard and maybe a few pieces of electronics, that should be easy enough... If i need however to completely rewire everything, then i will think long and hard
